Agree with SLYWKA7's notes, especially that this veers more towards CA. For the first hour I would have guess this as Santa Rita Hills. At three hours, it had faded a bit and was perhaps more Oregonian, but not as enjoyable. Had with Ahi Tuna steaks and was a perfect match. So I recommend drinking now and enjoying it for what it is - a relatively big and fruity Oregon pinot that is delicious and ready to drink.

Pop and pour. Aromas of cherry, strawberry, mushroom and touch of flowers. Flavors of cherry, strawberry, sassafras, earth and herb. Ends with a herb and cherry finish of 25+ seconds. Veer more towards California but doesn’t have the weight.

Pale Ruby. Hazy. Can just barely see to the other side of the glass.
Nose: Dark fruit, cola, garden soil, and spice.
Mouth: Black cherry, fig, macerated prune, sarsaparilla, black tea, and a hint of Christmas spice. Dense and lush, flavors are knit together very well. Body weight and mouthfeel go far beyond that of a typical Pinot Noir. Light, sleepy tannins on the finish give just a hint of support structure and provide a finish perfectly appropriate to the direction of the wine.
Overall: Elegance, even understated opulence are here in force. Beautiful and mature, with complexity and plushness worth far more than its current price. A real focus on quality here and a good expression of the region. 100% Pinot Noir.

Juicy cherry and raspberry, warm spice, a little tartness on the end. Stays with you for good while. Needs to breathe a little as the ripeness starts out as being a bit sweet, but it settles down quickly and gains balance.

Dark color, lots of black berry and cherry aromas with a sweet spice hint. Similar flavors, coming across as ripe and simple, but still balanced. Easy to enjoy near-term.

This wine is right in its prime. Drinking beautifully. SLYWKA7's notes still say it all.

Agree with SLYWAK7 notes although I didn't get as long a finish. Was better after being open an hour.
