Nose of hay, quince, apple, milky note. The palate is sharp with strong acidity, featuring a surprising and somewhat bothersome milky aspect. Astonishment upon discovering the label. Rated 89.
Nez sur le foin, coing, pomme, note lactée. La bouche est tranchante et l’acidité forte, avec un côté lacté surprenant et un peu gênant. Stupeur à la découverte de l’étiquette. 89

Hard to believe I bought for 60 bucks at a wine store in Miami Beach. Steel minerality and ocean sea air combine to make apple and peach elegance and a richly flavored wine.

Bought at McCarthy to go with our NYE lobster. Pale straw in the glass offering flavors of rich cream with a lemony aroma that was very pleasant. A rather complete effort of coating the palate and quite fine with the lobster--a good match worth having again soon! Subtle minerals finished off the wine along with a acidic bite that was not too strong. I would be inclined to taste this again against other producers.

Had it with Fruit de Mer with two of its brothers
Steel minerality, crisp, fresh
Nice but not amazing - would have expected more from a Grand Cru

Lovely mineral, almost smokey, matchstick nose. Lovely palate presence. Obviously still very young but excellent.

Burghound comes to London (One Great George Street): Chalky, ripe chadonnay fruit, no hint of oyster shell and I didn't miss it. Didn't taste as oaky as the Clos, but still very rich, profound
