4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Our house): Faded color with notes of sour, tart cherries and bouillon. Better on the palate with cherry and forest floor qualities. Light; definitely older; off vintage. Guessed old OR Pinot.

pleasure to drink aged pinot significant depth and texture. Medium initial taste then taste and texture grew to leave a nice lingering aftertaste. Main tastes were centered around strong sinewy black fruits of which I am not good enough to identify but likely cherry.

DWDG February 2008 (Hector's on Henderson): WIML90. Tasted February 20, 2008. Opened and served immediately. Garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. "Pinot funk" on the nose with some notes of black cherries and black berries. Flavors of black berries, black cherries and a hint of bitters on the finish. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full body. Drink or hold.

Delicious of course could not detect any difference from my memory of tasting at the winery but who knows, One of the most flavorful and interesting pinots we have tasted fruity light oak and tannins light wine (vs heavy bordeaux)

A little past it’s prime, but aged well, decanting for about an hour helped.
