The more I drank this wine....the more I like, no love it! Flavorful, sparkling, mellow (and I drank Cristal and Krug). I could explain, but just buy a bottle and try it...I don't care if it is from the USA!

This took a while to get going / needs to warm up a little to really get there. Initially a bit flat and thin. Not as bready as J Schram (which is a good thing in my view). Over 10-15 mins the ginger and yuzu emerge, though they are quite subtle. I'm not sure I see the QPR here vs. a Schramsberg Blanc des Blancs.

One of the BEST price and flavors (aromas) "sparkling" wines in California! Some will consider it expensive, but for flavors....nay! This wine still has more life...at least 5 - 10 more years. I'm still drinking the 2009.

We opened this to celebrate all that was 2020 and to usher in the new year, taking 2020's lesson "not to wait" to heart. It was a beautiful celebration of what's been with hope for what's to come.

Delicious in a fresh, jubilantly tangy way. Only a touch of the brioche and lees I’m generally drawn to, replaced with a crisp, spry yellow apple acidity over delicate marzipan that makes this hard to slow sip. I’m usually a half glass on special occasion sparkling drinker but I skipped out on the white pairing to keep drinking this through the pasta course.

The Third Annual Blind Tasting of American Sparkling Wine: Retail $125. 100% Chardonnay. Brilliant pale yellow with ripe fruit flavors (peach, melon), and a couple of shakes of white pepper. Ripe apple flavors on the palate, a good sparkle, and plenty of depth, but it comes off as young with brilliant acidity, masking the fruit ever so slightly. It’s subtle, it’s delicate, but it is also fantastic. Whoa. thedrunkencyclist.com
