Librandi Trade Tasting (Fairmont Singapore - Prego): Big orangey strawberry colour depth. Rather strange bready nutty aromas as if a good deal of oxidation happened, but apparently it was not... rather, a trademark of the varietal... hmm... Flavours first of lemon and grass, then the aforementioned bready notes, and strawberry only showed up towards the back, as well as caramel. Produced through direct press after a 12-hour maceration, and in the subsequent 2018 vintage, they decided to reduce to 5-6 hours. Think that’s a good call as I felt that this one really lacked balance. We shall see...
