Took a bit of air to express itself, almond blossom, elderflower, peach, lime, spice, saline, mineralite, weightless but with a real voluminous presence in the mouth, long and youthful, lovely Bourgogne Blanc.

Pale lemon. Initially inexpressive nose with an hour of air develops a smoky spiciness with some savoury nuances. Scintillating acidity on the fulsome mineral palate, oily textured with hints of lime blossom on the finish. Brooding in its youthfulness. A Bourgogne of great delicacy and restraint.

My last bottle of this reticent in the extreme, worried it wouldn’t be approachable for a long time, this bottles really on fire. Initially on opening lime, lemon, mineralite, following an hour pineapple, very complex spice, peach, after a few more more hours intense mineralite and seashore, biscuity. Delicious.

Nice finesse to this wine on the front palate. Good acidity, with a chalky feel. Flavors dominantsed by lemon, mineral and chalk with a slight creamy wood finish.

Smells crisp with that oak / lemon / verbana / earl gray tea thing. It is right in the pocket. Crisp on the palate with focus and drive. Linear, but just opened and just shipped too. So probably needs some time to come down. Works it out.

Taut, linear and racy, best on day 2, saline, lime, spice, orchard blossom, impressive length and balance.

Pale, green tinged. Subtle nose of lemon oil, bergamot, seaside. Citrus infused mineral palate of great purity. Delicious.

Great value BB. Kumquat, lemon, sea salt, coco-oak - acidic zing. Had with a slice of white truffle mushroom pizza.

Modest Creme brulee, toasty oak, clean yet leaning towards modern. I preferred the latour bb

Very nice burgundy. More quality than the "Bourgogne" label would imply. Great QPR.
