Interesting that Wine Spectator was so big on this wine. This is a typical $8.50 bottle of white, green apple nose and a little too much acidity for me. Agree with the other reviews, fine for a party wine but nothing to get excited about.

Pleasant nose typical of a CdP blanc with a nice fruity palate, medium to low acidity (without being clumsy) and a nice long finish. Seems like this has really developed. Great QPR.

Craig Vanderah's Annual BBQ (Pax, Kosta Brown, Beaucastel, Donjon, Turley, Loring, Neal): Very pale yellow color. The nose was different than the other whites served and was dominated by honey and flower notes. Promising. On the palate this felt heavy and clumsy. A bit bitter and a relatively short finish. Not terrible, but outclassed by the other whites on this night.

Color: Straw Nose: Tropical - Pineapple with a hint of coconut Crisp, medium bodied with good acidity. Some citrus turning rather bitter on the finnish. Also picking up some green notes - fresh fennel and maybe celery. Also some white pepper adding to the sharpness in the finish. A nice diversion at a nice price - $8

This was really good a year ago but now it has really faded.

Floral nose with a hint of citrus. Refreshing palate: light, with notes of peach and citrus, turning to herbs on the finish.

Good structure. Mineraly, zesty aroma. Moderate acidic bite that led to a clean crisp finish.

Gibby's Uncorked, Flight III (Gibby's Wine Den, Geneva IL): Notes of apple aand waxy pear, does have a Rhonish quality about it. Nice texture & weight, with waxy orchard fruit nuances.

nice simple inexpensive wine. On the nose slight green apples and a bit of tropical fruit. On the palate the fruit is muted, but the acidity is nice.

Unoffensive but completely unremarkable. Nothing stands out. Might be a decent choice for a party wine.

A reasonable table wine, not particularly fantastic. Slight taste of apples.
