not a rebuy, but a really nice job for the hot year of 2003, this was a tad simple, with decent acidity (esp considering the vintage), purple to blue fruited (plenty of), a hint of minerality... but just a bit like a new world pinot in its straight-forwardness... was hoping for something more intriguing and really didn't have it, but easy to drink for sure

perfect matured right now, very expressive pinot fruit in the nose, good tannin structure and nice acidity for the hot year 2003, good length. could have a bit more complexity but very good value.

Gevrey-Chambertin BYO Dinner at DUO (Duo, S Miami Avenue, Miami, FL): Wine # 3.Abe's contribution. Cleary best in flight. Nice aromatics and good flavor profile with plenty of upside. This like all of the wines at the dinner failed to achieve the mature aromatic complexity of memorable PN. For the most part the wines were too young!
