Meh not in the vein of that first bottle that was so good - this bottle seemed a bit too rounded off. Salty minerality is still there but it is dominated by pear and peach and could use a more acidic backbone.

Duften minner om søtlig melon, sitrus. Lett tropisk preg. Merkbar ny eik, men ikke overdøvende.
Smaken følger lukten. Oljete. Litt honningtoner.
Men ikke noen flabby show-stopper her altså!
Nb: ikke fat, men ståltanker. Malo i stedet for Eik?
Funket godt til carbonara og middelhavsinspirert lun kyllingsalat. Bør drikkes lett avkjølt.
Bra til prisen!
Interessant bekjentskap. Tester gjerne mer carricante.

Medelintensivt gul färg. Tydlig och fantastisk mineralton. Hav. I övrigt lite åt gul frukt och melon-hållet. Frisk syra. Smaken något mindre intensiv än doften.

Young on nose with medium(-) intense aromas of apple, nuts, white flowers (lilac), lemon, pineapple. Has a plastic minerality and seems slightly oxidized (a mixture of marzipan and faint cork).
Young, medium intensity of flavours (as above). Dry, medium+ acidity, medium body, medium alcohol, medium- finish.

Apple and lemon, bit of straw and chamomile. Medium acid. Short finish. Lacking the textural depth, precision, or composure of the Le Vigne Niche Calderara of past years and a bit less than the 2016 entry level too. Still nice and good QPR under 20.

Another bottle, still very nice for the price but not as good as the last bottle, had a green note and slight alcoholic bitterness this time. More of a yellow plum note than before as well. Still very chuggable and food frlendly even with a spicy pasta tomato sauce.

Deliciously fruity and fresh while still mineral and salty in the ending. A little bit oily in texture that leads me to think that it is best served well chilled. Fruit for me was somewhere along the lines of peach, pear and pineapple.

I served this in my wine course. Stone fruits, especially Mirabelle in the nose along with some ocean breeze minerality. Light mouth, and lower acidity and shorter finish than Terre Nere's rosato, but a good return to fruit at the end.

Pungent nose of wax, yellow fruit, honey, and turmeric. Punch of dense fruit on the middle of palate with a sunny acid glow, clean short bitter finish. Broad colorful gestures, like a Cezanne. 50 + 17 + 17 + 8 = 92.

Bright lemon, aromas of lemon, pear, flint/mineral notes. Dry, bright acidity, medium alcohol and medium(+) body. Aromatic palate of lemon, yellow plum, saltine crackers, herb notes supported by firm texture providing structure and great mouthfeel. Good length, layered finish. Well done; with dinner at Chez Victoire in Montreal.

Aroma: melon, gardenia, toasted nuts. Palate: creamy and spicy, grassy cantaloupe flavors. Some minerals. Moderate acidity. Compare to an entry-level Viognier or Marsanne. Pleasant.

no SO2 and reading the harvest report the producer sounded pretty smitten with the 17 Bianco. Remind me a little of Ostatu Blanco. Nose mainly about this forward fruitiness and floraity that's echoed on palate also, ripe and hints at tropical fruit. Tense and saline. Most impressive on day one where it tastes like carrying so little weight but so much genuine extract and density. 89-90

Like licking a salty dry stone
Lots of power but extremely drinkable
Carricante low oak if any is better
