Hay, orange, strawberry smell. Attractive clean taste in the mouth, slightly dilute. Almost no tannin but a pleasant citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Just about medium body and medium acid. Clean fresh wine. Very good.

Grassy herbal smell, a bit of acetone. The fruit is mostly peach and apple. Tangy and savoury in the mouth, slightly dilute though. Clean and fresh and definitely at the conventional end of orange wine, although slightly cloudy it had very little of the yeasty funk that sometimes accompanies natural wines. Good length finish and enjoyable, suitable for many types of food.

Exotic and spicy. Very unique wine that is very much its own. Clearly an orange with which I normally don't enjoy that much but I really enjoyed this one due to the complexity and difference while still being very drinkable.

slightly oxidized, deep yellow straw colour. needs to breath 1/2 an hour. complex. a wine to have with food, especially fish. this is not a simple white for a patio on a hot day.

Deep amber, the color of 22K gold. Obvious extensive skin contact. Exotic nose of bergamot, allspice and dried apples, on the palate bone dry versions of loquats, tangerine peel and spiced peaches. Mysterious, hypnotic, multi-faceted. This is not an everyday white wine, you need to prepare the right food for it. We opened it one night but after tasting corked it for the next night when I could match it with a chicken curry. Which was perfect, and the wine itself was more 'out' on the 2nd day as well. So, so amazing; we finished the bottle that night but the spell lasted for days.

Light to medium golden color, slightly cloudy, with hints of orange. So much going on aromatically with apples, lemon zest, orange blossom honey, white florals, and almost a chamomile tea type note. Continued to open up over the course of dinner. Similar flavors on the palate with a mix of citrus and orchard fruits with more flowers and slightly nutty, oxidative notes. Medium+ acid. This is definitely an interesting wine that might not be for everyone but love the complexity. Paired perfectly with a Sicilian pasta dish of roasted cauliflower and onions with toasted breadcrumbs.

Similar impression to bottle back in July. Hazy golden yellow in the glass (almost looks like a cider). Nose of peaches, apples and spice. Tart and dry on the palate which followed the nose nicely. Good acidity in the finish which allowed it to linger nicely.

Well, I loved this. A unique, hard-to-describe wine - the nose has some typical white wine fruit smells but is mostly natural wine smelling of green tea and wildness. The palate is an explosion of white fruit, acetic overtones, and some oxidative notes. About $50 at Salvo Patria in Bogota.
This came across more like a cider than a wine, and a murky not particularly fruity cider, at that. Not a fan of this style. No better on day 2, or day 3, from the fridge.

Wine Tasting Group - Farewell to Rae - July 20, 2019 (Michael's M's home): From Vittoria, Sicily. 60% Moscat of Alexandria, 40% albanello grapes. 15 days of skin contact maceration. Very spicy and floral aromas verging on insect repellent (for me). White peaches, herbs, and minerals on the palate with a mild bitter taste of insect repellent on the end. This wine was somewhat controversial. I thought it was flawed with the insect repellent aroma and taste. Others didn't get as much of that and thought it was fine.

Deep yellow-amber color. Blend of Albanello and Zibibbo, macerated with extensive skin contact. Aromas of bergamot, camphor, dried herbs, tea(?). Dry, medium acidity, low tannin, medium(-) alcohol @12% abv. Linear flavor profile, laser sharp defined stone fruit and cooked apple flavors, minerality braced by bright acidity. Long finish with earth notes. Surprisingly good, long finish. At Coltivare.

Unfiltered, biodynamically grown, minimally sulphured. Deep golden yellow, nose of honey, nectarines and herbal tea. Super refreshing, nice salinity. Almost cider-like. Hard to describe but I enjoyed it a lot. :)

Not sure about this wine. Deep yellow, slight haze in the glass. Apple cider, herbs and salt on the nose. Brett comes in on mid-palate. Very dry, floral, funky finish. Interesting, but I'm not sure I would buy it again....

I totally agree with Juffer's note- I get a nice hint of brett, but it's not overwhelming, if anything, it enhances the wine, adding that dry, fresh texture to the wine that otherwise would seem a bit flabby and bruised without it. Spot on with that fallen apple.

I served this in my wine course. Wow, instant smile! Fantastic firing on all cylinders nose of cidery fallen apples and pears with a good dose of spicy (not stinky) brett. Very pleasant brett continues in the mouth to the point that if tasted blind I would say I was drinking a very aged (due to the lower impression of acid) Cantillon Gueuze. Excellent earthy bitterness adds lift on the finish. Quite an experience, and outstanding if you're into this.

I love this stuff. Dry, bright, salty, complex with all sorts of hoppy, white tea, dried flowers. Not too funky, this has a vibrant purity about it. Paired really well with two raw tuna dishes.

Unique hoppy aromatic profile on Arianna Occhipinti's SP68 Bianco. It could be a west coast IPA - initially mosaic hops and grapefruit. Then, slowly creeping wild flowers, apricots, coriander, and exotic orange spice. Lean with good acid. The native blend (Moscato di Allessandria and Albanello) sees two weeks of skin contact. Flavors are savory floral - spicy citrus, jasmine tea, and chamomile. It's a terrific beery wine, and though I sometimes don't like the blurred profile, this one sings.

By the glass at the The Kitchen Table, London. Freshly opened bottle ( We stole a small glass from the wine paring menu). We dnt really like the style, natural wines and all but this works especially at this stage when its very fresh and oxidation , there is a light touch, has not taken over. Orange zest feel, touch of a sweet undertone, spirited wine even though maybe a touch on the low side on the acidity. Maybe the best we can say about it is that we dnt liek the style but we liked this a fair bit. Thank you miss Occhipinti .
