  • A very nice, if quite "simple", Sauternes.
Light flicks of saffron, cloudberries, golden delicious apples and honey on the nose. As expected a pure joy to dunk your nose into.

On the palate, enjoyable if not to say a bit mild. You get some apricot, a bit of sultanas and a dash of orange pulp, all round up in a ever so light shimmer of vanilla and honey.

There is a lot to be happy with when it comes to the 2016 Mouton Cadet Sauternes Reserve, especially for such an sympathetic price tag, but a bit more punch and acidity is missing for me.

  • It is a clasicc sauterner, it is a good wine.
    Sweet, high acidity.
    Intense yellow, almost gold.
Smell like honey comb, and chamomile, with orange peel.
