  • Very light yellow, with a hint of gold. No decant. Good nose and very good tropical flavors, with banana leading the way, plus white flowers and stones. Light mouthfeel on entry, but then the acidity kicks in and expands along with the fruit through the long finish. Not the most complex wine, but quite tasty and ready to go. Aged 50 percent in concrete and 50 percent in neutral oak.

If you haven't tried wines from Antiquum Farms, a tiny producer in Willamette Valley, I highly recommend them. They are wonderful and unique, just like owner/winemaker Stephen Hagen. He works his vineyards with a horse-drawn plow. Really.
