Drinking well, minimal decant of about an hour, chilled slightly- made a very nice dinner wine with a seared tuna tridato (spicy sauce with mango, passion fruit and jicama). As noted fruit forward, tannin to chew on, acid to hold it together. Held up well into second night.

Fresh, mellow cherries in this open, full bodied wine. Focus is on the fruit which is so welcoming it almost feels sweet. A nice acid binds the parts together.

Nice stuff. Rustic, would believe it was half barbera half dolcetto, and it really works to the best qualities of both. Tannin to chew on but still very easy drinking. Great house wine.

Vivid, deep red. Cranberry and herbaceous on the nose, followed by red bramble fruit and strong mineral it’s. Good and straightforward on its own, but cries out for simple food match like pizza or pasta bolognese to balance the acidity (Italian wine after all) and bring out the underlying complexity. Barbara and Dolcetto.

Perfect in and with beef stew. Smooth, full, great QPR, drinking beautifully right now.

Good, but it was even better on release. Lost some frukt but still a nice Barbera in a rustic style.

First taste when opened was the best but it quickly bloomed into something too big and too dark

Rich, very smooth drinking the second night, a little heavy. Giving this a little time to develop maybe.

Still very feisty, grippy tannins, lots of heat, good qpr and several more years to go.
