A very nice Viognier from a vineyard near Watsonville, which is better known for its berries and orchards than its grapes. Located not far from Monterey Bay, it benefits both from fog and a warm summer climate. At 14.3% it's a bit on the hot side but definitely well made, and a great match for wahoo done on the grill with an orange and tomato salsa. Yum!
