Surprisingly good! Almost black color, dark fruit (blackberry) and leather in the nose, structured and grippy mouthfeel. Not overly complex, maybe, but definitely worth the price!

This is the kind of wine I like. I need a name for it: it's the grippy texture and the touch of oak, like a well worn leather glove. Yes, the bouquet could be richer. Not much more than dark fruit. Yes, the palate could be more complex. But l think what is satisfying about the flavor and ribbed acid-tannin interplay is the way it interacts with food and adds another dimension to dinner.

imple but enjoyable Portuguese table wine. The label says it goes well with pasta, pizza, and red meat. Paired well with my Saturday pizza. 40%Touriga Nacional, 40% Tinta Roriz, and20% Touriga Franca. 8 months in oak barrels. Mostly dark plums and dark fruits with some subtle vanilla and oak.

Purple, harsh tannins, a little bit of floral, more harsh tannins, a little stony quality—wish I could use them to pound the tannins. Out of balance and totally overpriced. S1/HRH rating Meh, cheap for a reason—will only buy if it’s close to payday and I am nearly broke

Tastes good with a white cheddar or a frontal dill.

Nose of leather, woody notes, and dark fruit. Fruit tastes of blackberries and raspberries. Medium bodied, structured tannins.

Open it up and leave it for an hour or two.
Good vintage.
Surprised by the other low ratings. It’s a pretty good daily wine considering the price.

This was okay - drank fine for a $12 bottle. Was much better after opening and letting it breathe. On the acidic side, so needs food.

Not enough depth for me. Definitely needs to open up about 20-30 minutes. Ok for a $15 bottle but there are others I’d choose. I wouldn’t buy again.
