Deep ruby in colour with aromas of black fruit, earth/oak, & a distinct vegetal/herbal note. On the palate, medium to full bodied black fruit, tart blackberry & blueberry, again with vegetal/herbal notes, well integrated oak/vanilla with medium to high acidity & medium soft tannins. Finish is long to spice/black pepper & this is balanced, lovely wine! Can’t wait to try to the 2017/2018.

Still very primary. Massive Blackberry Compote. A little bit of savoury spice from the American Oak? High acid. grippy little tannins. I would wait a couple of more years for this to mellow out.

Cool climate, elegant; not powerful Medium aromas of slightly tart black fruit, black cherry, smoked meat, and blueberry. Spices too. And white pepper. Medium tannins that were very smooth and elegant, but with some grip towards the end Very good length Needed a few minutes to open up Although it’s great now, it will be better after 2 more years in bottle

Medium ruby/purple in colour with pronounced aromas of ripe raspberry and hints of cinnamon, cigar, and dark chocolate. On the palate were pronounced flavours of black cherry, cigar box, and black pepper. Acidity was medium and tingly. Alcohol was high but not too hot and tannins were low, smooth, and ripe. This full-bodied wine was well-balanced with a very long, peppery finish. This was a bit expensive, but it was enjoyable and well-balanced with nice acidity that should cellar for a few years.
If the Okanagan has a signature nose, this is it. Raspberry, smoke and cooked red fruit, with some wood elements reminiscent of pine lingering in the tail end. Fine peppery mid-section, medium weight. Balanced finish, but it doesn’t linger too long. I’m wouldn’t age it much longer the tannins are very tame. Worth noting that after a good long breathing session, the wine REALLY came into itself and was quite a bit better. Much more structured, firm and integrated across the board.

Berry and oak, cherry, licorice, chocolate, bramble. Smooth tannins and medium acidity, but the alcohol seems out of balance, packs a quick punch but leaves too quickly. Would have benefited from some decanting.
Lovely & perfumed, medium bodied, easy drinking. There is fruit here & its concentration is spot on the palate but the aromatics are unbalanced. Maybe cellar time will help.
Overall, it is a little too reductive in style for me. (Le Vieux Pin has spoiled me.)

Peppery and spicy on the palate, dark fruit dominant, lots of power and punch, well made and delicious accompaniment to bison burgers.

Enjoyed this wine and wondered if it would have been tastier if consumed earlier

Un peu cher mais pas méchant.
Assez intense, des mures et beaucoup
de poivre. Finale avec un brin de chauffe
et capiteuse.
Bien mais un peu jeune.
