Clean. Medium intensity with aromas of cherry porcini tar violets and blackberry purée.
Dry. Medium(+) alcohol. Medium(+) tannins. Medium(+) acidity. Medium(+) body. Medium intensity with flavour of Bing cherry porcini blackberry and amaro.
Medium finish. Very good. Drink now and over the next five years. Interesting intense lacks a bit in the mid-palate. Austere finish

I’m finding this hard to describe. Non descript on the nose, for me, but a soft texture and taste which is non descriptive but actually very pleasant. I drank this with sardines from the bbq so my taste may have been overpowered. I’m thinking that my inability to describe wine may not necessarily mean a poor wine.

Coming down from a cold so my nose wasn't at 100%- still detected nice blue/purple fruit scents with a slightly bitter quality, and very subtle black olive which blew off quickly. Palate is a flood of ripe, warming purple fruit, violet liqueur, laser-like acidity, and very mild chalky tannins which only show up toward the finish. Feels very "clean" and fresh. Lovely, and great QPR at $16. Not complex but very pure.

Here we go atruffling... (aka Piedmont... and Veneto); 11/16/2018-11/30/2018 (Alba, Guarene, Modena, Barolo, La Morra, Lake Garda .....): First one of the tasting and I think from QPR perspective one of my favorite two. Pours a dark ruby red. This is your standard pizza wine. It's bright and fresh and easy. The kindof wine you can serve a hint chilled and probably would appreciate that on a hot summer day. I get red currants and plums and an unripe cherry. Light bodied. There's a hint of a woodsy character to it which is odd since this is 100% stainless steel tanks. Very easy to drink.

Really enjoyed this found it much smoother than Luigi Einaudi Dolcetto. Slight sweetness to the wine, blueberries. Served from fridge belie room temp.

Great nose, more powerful than most dolcettos in the area. Decent acidity, clean mouthfeel with dark candied fruit finish.
