Just a quick review of this wine with Tasmanian Oysters at Sandy Bay . On opening we have lemon colour with some aged tones and a lemon rim at March 2021. ready for certain On the nose we have maturing aged flavours little yeast characters as i would have excepted more at the age. just ave and just a dry sparkling wine without any finesse . On the palate we have again mature flavours little fruit flavour and too me it appears past best . Ok with oysters but not my style and lacking depth . If you have drink up or sell at auction

Pale gold in colour. Medium nose of tart green apple, ripe pear, brioche and vanilla shortbread. Medium+ acidity and fine bubbles. Flavours of green apple, citrus, brioche, biscuit and cream. Hint of Christmas spice and apple tart. Very balanced with medium complexity and long length.

Pale greeny gold. Bready with Granny Smith apple which follows through on the palate with a creamy mid palate and decent weight but with the piercing acidity you’d expect from champagne.

This was perfectly acceptable but not as good as Drappier Premier at almost the same price.
