Palate: Gentle, wonderful harmonious and 'juicy', black wild berries, very delicate use of wood, a touch bitterness, delicious and very drink animating. What a great wine for a price of 12 Euros.
In 2019, a colder vintage, I will top up on that again!

Again, a modern-ish easy drinking red with a lot of fruit but not a lot of weight. Tannins were pretty soft as well. Flavor profile was somewhat over-ripe and anonymous (blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franc, and a couple of others) but pleasant enough. Not bad for the money. Can hold this for several more years at least, but I don't see this improving and turning into something more profound.

Deep ruby, intense and well-sculpted exuding blackberry, cherry, licorice and plum. Well balanced with the right amount of acidity and some dusty tannins keeping it in check. Good all around and enjoyable. NI:3, FI:22, FC:8, B:4, L:3

Very good again on the first evening, but this started to oxidize and was not as good the next evening. Modern style with pretty high ripeness and slick oak treatment.

Another good bottle of this, but noticed the weak concentration and lack of depth even more this time. Probably the vinegar in the salad dressing contributed to the impression. 88-89.

14% abv. Recent auction purchase. Pop 'n pour. Silky mouthfeel. Succulent fruit. Very dark color is misleading a bit as this was not very concentrated and lacked some depth. Otherwise, a nice exotic flavor profile. 89 - 90 with room for improvement.

Dry, medium-medium(=) acidity, medium-medium(+) tannin, medium acidity and body. Palate of cherry, tanned leather/suede, red berry, and pepper. Slightly astringent but not unpleasant texture. Good length with tannin-framed bright finish.

Aromatic with schist infused raspberries, black raspberries, cherries with coffee hints. Its silky medium bodied voluptuous smokey, schisty blue and red fruits palate has lovely acidity. Ends longish, fresh and tapering. 14%. Needs 90 mins+ aeration. Good QPR at around 15 Euros. Lay down 3-5 years.

I don’t recognize the equivalents of these Portugese varietals but it seems mourvedre and syrah heavy. Funky and sharp now. Needs a lot of time to integrate. Acid is just right, and alcohol is medium to low, so I think the future is bright. Could become 91+ but I wouldn’t touch this again for 5-10 years.

Notes of sweet and sour red cherries, some darker fruit too, sweet spices, soke graphitey minerality and some flowery notes. It's medium+ bodied and has a very pretty vein of (medium-high) acidity and some lower medium tannin. Overall very fresh and lifted, more finessed than powerful. Really good for the money. (91+)

I've had quite a few of these and they all have been nice. Mixed red fruit, good acidity and tannins, plenty of alcohol.

I think waited a bit too long: little fruit, too much acidity.

Not my stile. Reminds me of a South American Cab. Dry fruits dominating the not-so-concentrated wine.

2 bottles of equal quality. A very nice red. Some ripe and tart fruit, some spices, minimal oak characteristics. Good QPR at > $20USD.
