Benefited with air, nice earthiness in a Oregon Pinot noir but a bit ripe to me and could have used a touch more acidity to provide lift and freshness. Enjoyable nonetheless. Will check back in on this in a few days.

Decanted 1hr. Medium purple in color, developing, pronounced aromas of sandalwood, black raspberry, black berry, black plum, baking spices, vanilla, damp earth, kola nut, dried orange peel, smoke, cedar, cascara. In the mouth, the wine is dry, high acid, med tannin, med + body, med alcohol, pronounced palate intensity, with a long finish. Drink now, has the potential for ageing (10+ yrs, IMO), overall, very good. Just entering the drinking window, with a long life ahead of it. Very concentrated, but delivers on all fronts, I think time will help this wine.

Similar nose/flavors to the bottle in 2022, though this one was a bit more wound up. Needed some air, but harmonized after an hour or two of air. Plenty of time in hand on this one.

big and a bit burly on day one more typical, somewhat primary strawberry and grape juice, with christmas spice (esp. cinnamon) on day two day three savory leaner purple fruit with notable wood (as if there were dregs in the last glass, but there weren't) more for duck/mushroom dish than any lighter fare so three different wines in three days, none of them quite 'ready' would hold for now

PnP and consumed over about 4 hours. Medium garnet. Earthy, savory, Cameron-funk on the nose; ash. I really enjoy the nose, not typical in the majority of Pinots I drink.
About medium in body, darker berry fruit, some cherry-liquer, very pure and concentrated, punchy acidity. Lovely. Phenomenal, even. Lots of gas in the tank.

A touch of funk initially but it’s not distracting. Red fruit, berries and earth. The acidity and tannins are already very well integrated and this is in the early part of its drinking window.

Moderate funk on opening, then developed nicely over about 2 hrs before peak. Slightly hazy. Great fruit, medium dry tannins. Would first revisit in 2023.

deep berry and earthy nose; real stuffing and gravitas here, as if Ridge made a pinot. Big but not ponderous; deep mixed wild berry, (ridge like-) garrigue, christmas spice; more savory than sweet. Great mouth texture and length. Good acidity helps on the finish. Not sure i would have guessed pinot. Still evolving in the glass on day three; plenty of je ne sais quois here; there is some cedary oak and tannin that still needs to be further integrated but this is great stuff

Side-by-sided with the '16 Clos Electrique. Much more what I think of as an expected Dundee Hills profile: Floral (rose), crunchy red fruit (rainier cherry), red red red... cinnamon... decent body and then good lift from medium-plus acidity on the finish.

closed with some reductive notes on day one; more open on day two with good wild mixed berry and earth. Despite the warm season, the fruit is just ripe enough; Sour notes and a bit rustic for a pinot. ?Flawed or at least an atypical bottle.

Ripe blackberries, strawberries, forest floor, and earl grey tea on the nose. Medium purple color. A smooth mouthfeel with smooth tannins. Excellent Dundee Hills Pinot Noir.

Possibly flawed or just massively reductive with a hint of bret....called down with air to become more enjoyable.
