  • Drinking extremely well, but I think has plenty left to run. Good legs. Very good balance of soft fruit and minerality, slightly saline, viscous mouthfeel. Long finish.

  • Tabaco demasiado largo, sorpresa en este vino. Mineralidad alta pero menos frutal. Menos guarda q otras añadas.

  • Similar note to 2020. A little more rounded. Some flint, wet stones on the palate with herb/medicinal flavours.
A complex wine which may improve further and drink well for 5-10 years.

  • A very "hearty" white. Full bodied, but manages to retain its freshness. With a nice lick of salinity. Good on its own but better with food.

  • Gorgeous sunshine golden color, nice crystalline clarity.

Very floral and mineral on the nose. The aromas really evolve quickly and broadly over time while in the glass. This is an intensely complex white wine. Saline, white flower, lime zest, honeysuckle, crushed chalk, apple tart, a kiss of cinnamon, and a hint of tarragon. Incredible!

Lively and zesty on the palate but not aggressively acidic. Actually has a really nice rounded, creamy mouthfeel. Lots of that lime thing going on in the mid palate and it culminates with a really intense, reverberating finish that trails off with a white pepper spiciness.

    Absolutely stunning.

  • Pale gold colour.
    Quite acidic, fresh.
    Paraffin, grapefruit nose.
    Medium bodied, well balanced.
Grapefruit palate, unripe fruit, rhubarb palate.
    14% alcohol.
Should improve, revisit in a year.

  • Really lovely and showing improvement since last bottle, suggesting we're into the beginning of the drinking window. Perfumed and initial stone fruit on the palate quickly replaced by citrus and then a long lingering salty finish. Possibly the finest godello I've tasted- no rush but don't hold back from enjoying now.

  • Tasted at Dany Garcia, Marbella
Very subtle wine, a bit of oak on the nose, balanced by a well integrated acidity. On the whole the wine is on the light side, quite filigree.
On the whole there was no "wow" effect, but the wine stood up well and harmonized with the various dishes alongside which is was served.
Would be interesting to taste it again in a few years.

  • Wow.

  • Don't know much about this wine, but it was a very versatile white to pair with the tasting menu at Tasquita de Enferente in Madrid. Long finish.

  • Aged for 7-8 months in 500-liter French oak demi-muids (20% new). 14% alcohol.

Youthful, pale grassy green color. Not that big or expressive nose with fine-tuned and quite attractive aromas of fresh nectarine, ripe red apples, some leesy creaminess, a little bit of cantaloupe, a light oaky nuance of honeyed richness, a hint of chopped green herbs and a touch of pineapple. The wine is broad, full-bodied and balanced on the palate with beautiful, silky texture and fine-tuned flavors of stony minerality, ripe red apples, some fresh white fruits, a little bit of creamy richness, light pear tones, a hint of sweet oak spice and a touch of beeswax. The acidity feels moderately high - not high enough to make the wine feel crisp, but high enough to lend great sense of balance and structure to it. The finish is long, rich and subtly bitter with dry flavors of stony minerality, tart green apples, some apple peel bitterness, a little bit of sharp lemony citrus fruit, light creamy notes of oak, a hint of vanilla custard and a touch of pineapple. The acidity comes more to the fore in the aftertaste, making the wine end on a mouthwatering note.

A very tasty and harmonious Godello that so silky and suave like no other wine. The wine is still so very youthful, but it still manages to offer lots of pleasure already. It is not an impressive "wow" wine that screams at full volume; it sings in a quiet voice and you've got to be receptive to appreciate it. I was quite doubting of these pricey top-Godellos, but I must admit that this wine managed to impress. I'd probably cellar it rather than drink it immediately, since it has that kind of Burgundian presence and sense of unrealized potential; most likely this wine will continue to improve for years more. Recommended.
