The nose on this wasn't too bad -- smelled like Cabernet with a little floral note. Sadly, it was all downhill from there. On the palate it was tart and acidic, extremely thin, and uninteresting. A bit green too. Probably past its prime but it did not seem spoiled. Hard to imagine this was ever very good.

The wine was in my cellar since its purchase in early 2007. On the nose i sense a strong aroma of dark berries with a peppery overtones which is also apparent on the palate. Meduim bodied and well balanced with t very annins and a meduim finish. Considering its price - its a great value for every day drinking and perfect for parties as it is sure to please most people.

Chile... Cab Sav...past it's best, I thought. Usual black forrest fruit, rather short in the finish. Wouldn't push it off the edge, but shelling out on it? There is better ones! Or try a later vintage?

My first impression is the nose and taste strongly remind me of a southern Cote du Rhone, and the taste somewhat follows that lead. Deep ruby color fading to an orangish-red at the edge, usually indicating a more aged wine. But from a 2005 vintage. Nose of black cherries, very faint strawberries and something vegetal. The taste has black cherry and strawberry. The finish is weak and short, with the tannins seeming very flabby and giving little structure. Easy to drink, but nothing special. Day 2, showed more pronounced tannins, strangely, but the finish still seems off picking up a slight black cherry note with the vegetal note.

Won in a raffle, so nothing lost. Tastes like an inexpensive cab. Drinkable with food. In this case, (beef) bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches. Didn't want to open up anything great for a weekday nosh, so this was okay. I would not buy it, however. For about the same price, Trader Joe's Reserve Cabernet is an awesome deal and a far better wine.

This is retrospective, and there's some chance I actually had vintage 2006 instead. But, anyways, it was quite undrinkable. Initially, it was okay, but... as the wine opened up, some sort of rotten food and garbage showed up. Seriously, I know I paid like $9, but still... this is just so gross.

A little rough, but all in all this wine is very good now. I doubt if it has much potential to age but is pleasant. Smells of cassis and a little spice. Very clean taste. Simple and light.

nose of very dark dusty sour black fruits with some interesting notes of coffee bean and cacao....also alot of veggies hanging as well. nothing offensive on the palate..but nothing good either... thin and hot especially in the midpalate finish transition. quite green. flavors are extremely tertiary accented by dark chocolate, maybe some black cherry if i really dig for fruit ...84pts.

Clear ruby, not particularly deep color. Aromas of red fruit (cherry mostly), pencil shavings and is extremely vegetal. Is it possible that I also get soy sauce?? Dry, fruit forward, medium length, hot. Flavors on the palate red cherry, green olives, some tannins, light but very ripe. Light mouthfeel despite clearly high alcohol.

Very good every day wine and also good enough to serve guests. Cheryl really likes this wine. It's light for a cab. and has lots of berry/cherry flavor.

In the glass, light bodied, opaque, very little glass cling. On the nose, blackberry and eucalyptus. On the palate, very round, black cherry, a slight hint of chocolate. Slightly acidic. Light mouthfeel, similar to skim milk. Overall, slightly one dimensional. Balanced but no real story being told here.

Light ruby color. Aromas of fresh cherry, strawberry jam, and oak. Medium bodied with fruit-forward style. Plenty of ripe fruit in the mouth, but overall light flavors. Cherry and blackberry with hints of fresh tobacco and oak. Finish was very light, not much tannin, so will need to be consumed young.

Liked this as an everyday wine. Does not taste like a typical cab, reminded me more of Cotes du Rhone. Mostly strawberry tastes and a bit dry, wonder if it will get bettter of time. Good value.

None of the primary characteristics of a great Cabernet has developed yet. The wine lacks the depth of aroma and flavor, and tannins are not yet sufficient.

Flowery nose reminded me of a Chateauneuf du Pape with Grenache, but Cabernet? Maybe they mislabed as this would be the weakest Cabernet ever. Wine not bad, just not what you would think of a Lafite property, even in Chile!

Absolutely terrible wine. A little bit of red cherries and flowers on the nose. Nothing else going on. No taste, no finish, no complexity, nothing. One of the most boring wines I've tasted. Not bad enough to pour it down the drain, but bad enough that you feel ashamed of buying it.

Lovely smoky aromas, candied berry, and tobacco flavors. Too bad it's cabernet and not garnacha. Not textbook, but not entirely bad -- just not cabernet (at least right now).
