Still some primary fruits on the nose but now some earth/cedar too. A little more tertiary on the palate but still dark fruits evident. Drinking well and I would still give this another 3/4 years, possibly a little more.

Dark colour, with watery rim. Strong smell of dark cherries and fruits. Tasted better when first opened and could have been 90. I left for a couple of hours and was disappointed when I can back to it.

Deep ruby. Lots of dark fruits on the nose (damsons, black cherries) plus vanilla & chocolate. Medium+ bodied & finish. Some spice on the palate, with the dark fruits. 13.5%abv. Cab Sauv 60%, Cab Franc 32%, petit Verdot 8%. Very good wine, good for 4/5 more years.

Praelum Partners Dinner (Praelum Wine Bistro): Deep ruby. Pronounced aromas of blackberry, grass, capsicum, black pepper, and slight fungals. Powerful intensity, punchy tannins, blackberry and cassis flavours, as well as green bell pepper, cloves, cocoa, coffee, and paprika. Fair finish. Great wine!

Black with a purple rim. Full, fruity and instantly appealing. Juicy fruit in the mouth. Immediately popular and accessible. Will buy more to see how it ages.

Lots of blackberry fruit and cassis, polished tannins and a reasonable length. Not the most complex wine but very enjoyable.

Ao contrário dos outros rótulos da linha Marques de Casa Concha, esse Etiqueta Negra não é um varietal.
Blend bordalês de CS, Franc e Petit Verdot (60-32-8%) com estágio de 16m em barricas de carvalho, 60% de primeiro uso.
Em excelente forma apesar da juventude. Macio, equilibrado, integrado, taninos maduros, final redondo, conjunto sem arestas.
Em Maceió, no ótimo restaurante Divina Gula.
