Has matured into a soft and very pleasant wine. Light nose that is typical cabernet. Tastes of black cherries with something a bit smokey, like tobacco. Tannins have smoothed out. Glad I waited.

Good components and depth but just wasn't as bright and flavorful as the '04 Fantesca Cab that preceded it on this particular evening...hope to try again without a biased palate.

Classic napa cab smell. Good fruit taste, mid-body, tight tannins. Opened up after an hour or so. Tasted a little young, probably would be better in 2-3 years. Solid wine, maybe doesn't stand up to the ~$60 price tag.

Note #200 for me..Time flies when you're having fun. Decanted about 2 hours before drinking. Interestingly, my wife's first glass was initially much tighter than mine, despite being poured at the same time. Beautiful nose that I just wanted to sniff all night. Taste was equally as enjoyable with soft oak infused with black cherries, currant and som black berries. This is an absolutely elegant wine that, while on the expensive side, could stand up well to some of the "Big Boys" of Napa cabs. I was expecting a little more "umph" from the tannins, and I think that it's still on the young side, but I would think that it is likely to improve in 2-3 years.

Solid. Beautiful deep ruby color. Aromas of Asian Spice, bluberries and some nice musk. The palate is very elegant and supple. Dark blueberry flavors laced with some nice sweet spice come through nicely. The finish is somewhat lacking though. Overall the medium body of the wine is surprising. I was expecting more of a chewy tannic finish. Tasted more like a $30 bottle rather than a $60 bottle. Very nice for an introductory and very DRINKABLE mid to high level cab, but maybe not worth the price tag.

Last bottle in my cellar, consistent notes from previous tastings, nice aromatics but no real depth or intensity.

A bit thin and cedary, not the depth or fruit I'd expect.
