Still life left here. A nice balanced cabernet with good fruit and mild but still distinct tannins. Not a ton of flavor or complexity but a decent finish.

slightly dry and peppery, very light tannon, pretty smooth. I was pleasanty suprised given that CT indicates the drinkabilty range ends in 2007. This was a nice bottle of wine. Didn't bother to decant and there wasn't much change over the 2 hours we drank it.

Decanted ~45 minutes. Nose of licorice, spice. Fairly thick in the mouthfeel, although not a huge body. A touch of oil. A little fruit - tastes of blackberry & touch of cherry - not real dusty/earthy. Tannins are soft, but not too soft - just about right. Typical, but good, Sonoma cab. Drink now.
Was good w/ mediterranean chicken pizza. Took on a touch of smoke/tobacco.

Got a 6 pack on blow-out at Safeway. The one thing that surprises me about this is the full mid palate. Where other wines of this price point lack in this area, this wine has it. One of my best buys for $7.00

A forgettable Cab, but the nose was quite lovely. Plum, black cherry, hints of berry, leather and wood aromas. Cherry and cedar on the palate. Firm tannins, plenty of spice, and a velvety finish. Light to medium bodied. Would not buy again...low QPR.

FWR November 2006 Tasting (Toronto, Canada): Dark ruby. Aromas of vanilla, cherry cheesecake, and black fruit. Medium-full bodied, with green pepper, black plums. Moderate finish, 25s, with dark fruit.

Seems to be past its prime. Slightly less body than before. Maybe just this bottle. Still got 2 more to open.

Decanted, aromas of spice and leather. Thick and juicy in the mouth with dark berry and earth. Tannins are smooth. Very good Cab for the price.

Smooth, ready to drink now. Pleasant but not much complexity. Good value for the $. Paired well with a gnocchi with oxtail ragout.

I've loved this wine. For the price, I got it for less than $13 a bottle, it is almost unbeatable. A really fine, full bodied cabernet.

Well worth the $9.00 i paid, but more because of lack of problems than anything particularly good. unexciting....

Not bad for a inexpensive wine. If on sale for under $16 it would be worth it. I like J Lohr better though.
