Lost my notes on this but what I remember is: dark, dusty cherry with a bit of prune. Dense, not too ripe. Acidity is there, but subdued. Firm structure with some grip. An individual wine unlike any sangiovese I have tasted before (no big surprise). Good balance, well made.

A nice earthy CA sangiovese. I always enjoy Arroyo's wines.
