Medium purple, with aromas of dark fruits, tobacco, and oak on the nose. The wine is medium to full bodied and dry. The palate shows notes of plum, raspberry, blackberry, black cherry, vanilla, spice, and dried herbs. Acid medium, alcohol medium, tannins medium+

Pleasant dark fruit, herbs and smokiness on the nose. Fruit tastes of plum with hints of raspberry and herbal overtones. Medium bodied, persistent fine grained tannins. 3,19,6,3,4;50=85

On the nose, earthy, slate, forrest floor, pepper, spice, on the palate: Mineral, dried herbs, dark fruit - later on more wood, oak barrel comes out. Delicious and thought-provoking. Underripe fruit in a good way.

Fruit forward with light tannins. Smooth and full bodied before a medium+ finish. Little changed when paired with a steak stir fry dish, a bit disappointed with that. An enjoyable wine with a great QPR at $14 from TW.

Earthy nose. Dark Cherry - Rosemary-Leather notes with soft tannins. Well balanced with a long finish of fruit and Oak/Vanilla. Very good Bordeaux blend, velvety smooth and great value. From a Century old Argentinian winery - try with grilled meat.

I was not overly impressed with this at first but it opened up after an hour or so and very enjoyable for the cost.
