Opened not decanted and served chilled. Pale pine gold in color. Cold clean attack of lemon and lime fruit. Medium weight in body. Ends with a tangy and tongue coating lemon finish. Good + FYI these bottles are getting better with age
Opened not decanted and served chilled. Initially austere but after an hour (if you are not in a hurry to imbibe) it opens up a little bit more. Dark tastes of yellow citrus fruit (not lemon); lightweight in body; there is a touch menthol / eucalyptus on the nose which triggers a medicinal sense memory; the finish wants to go sweet but swerves to sour with semi dryness. I keep wanting these to get better with age but I just don't see them evolving. Pairs well though with Zydeco music. Good. (I will admit that the volume of liquid in the bottle has dropped significantly if that is any indicator on the wine or the taster).

Pale to medium gold. Aromas of yellow apple, Nashi Pear, ripe citrus and flint. The palate is intense showing lemon curd surrounding an energetic core of lemon zest and steely salinity. A refreshing peach pit flavor lingers on the finish.

Light golden color, medium legs. Citrus and floral notes on the nose. Light mouth feel. Citrus and mineral on the palate. Slight effervescent feel. Medium tart finish. This was a nice surprise. Very good wine at a very reasonable price.

I want to weigh in what a great value this wine is. It's a fraction of the price I normally spend, and it works fine as an every day sipper. I thought about pouring it into a nicer bottle so friends wouldn't be influenced by the label, but I just serve and don't say anything. At this price I don't mind opening a bottle for any reason.

The best Chablis I’ve had, but I’m not a Chablis drinker. After this one, I may become one. An amazing chardonnay, and once again, proof to me that only in Burgundy does the grape reach it’s greatest potential. This one may merit over 90 pts.

Pretty standard and enjoyable chablis, but nothing to write home about. White flowers, minerality, and medium acid predominate. This does however get better with some air time.

Drank on Maui, $17.99, light to medium body with good fruit, balanced with good acid, not as acidic and minerally as some Chablis but drank easily and lots of flavor, drank with Kauai shrimp with linguine, will drink again if I can find it in NJ.
If you read my notes on the 2015, you know that I’m a fan of this wine. So my tasting note on this is in comparison to that vintage and bottling. Same vineyards as before: Vau Ligneau and Vaugiraut. I also assume it’s the same (mystery) producer that has access to those vineyards.
Opened not decanted and served chilled. Sharp and somewhat narrow citrus profile with good acidity. Body weight is lighter that the 2015 and doesn’t have that rich, almost fatty viscosity. Ends with a sweet and sour finish and a refreshing “up” note. Not as opulent as the 2015 but great value. Good. (I purchased a case prior to tasting and have no regrets).

This is my second bottle within a short time because I really thought the first was great value. This one just confirmed that it is very good value and I will buy more.

Great QPR. This is a straightforward drinking white that is very good for its price point. It won’t knock your socks off, but the again it’s only $17 a bottle. There is good mineral, acidity, and balance in the wine.

Although this does not deliver the depth, intensity, or focus of most 1er Cru Chablis, it does perform like an excellent AOC level Chablis, and given that Costco's price is easily less than most producers' AOC Chablis this I consider this good value and a fine early drinker. Flinty mineral profile more than citrus or saline. 87-88

I've found that generally you get what you pay for at Costco. At $17-18, this Premier Cru Chablis is a bargain. After tasting, I wouldn't put it in the same bin as the many other Premier Cru Chablis I have tasted. For this wine specifically, the wine was a clear pale straw colored wine with slight green reflections. I got light to medium(-) intensity aromas of lemons, peaches and buscuit aromas. On the palate, the flavors matched the aromas, but were light intensity. The acidity was medium(+). The wine was dry. There definitely was a light creaminess and buttery nature, but not like their southern counterparts. The finish was short. Overall, the wine was acceptable.

Good QPR well balanced to high acidity, better after some time on it's side.

Still too young, more lean and linear than expected. Good stone flavors and strong acids. Defnitely let this one age some more.

Indistinguishable as a Chablis, with nearly-viscous body, detectible RS, total lack of minerality or acidic snap. Waste of Premier Cru fruit.

Amazingly good, especially for the price. Very typical of good Chablis with combination of mineral/slate, acidity, and cheese/malolactic
