All four burgundies I tried over these two days had really shut down a good bit. You could certainly tell there was a lot going on but just tannic tight and backwards. When first opened this had a gorgeous smokey earthy bouquet. Medium dark color. Full bodies and concentrated with some Earth and dark fruits. But really tannic tight and backward. Still very youthful. A big wine. Needs time. I'll check in on it again in a year just because it's the 10-year mark

94-96+. This wine is starting to be approachable. It is massive and beyond impressive. Dense dark color. Dark fruit concentrated bouquet. Very rich impressive and concentrated on the palate. Dark fruits, red fruits with some fresh Earth. Well balanced. There's still a lot of tannins but it has the fruit and structure to support them. One of the most impressive kosher burgundies. Still not at peak. Probably best from 2025 to 2035, possibly even longer

This was a serious departure from the last tasting. The last tasting had gorgeous ripe fruit which was very expressive although there was a lot of tannins. This wine has now shut down which is not surprising and is a typical part of its evolution. This is certainly built to last and should easily be at its best from age 10 to 20, possibly longer. This tasting had dense concentration with monolithic dark cherry Earth and fruit but loads of tannins. even with a few hours of breathing it really did not open up much. if I were to try it again soon I would certainly let it breathe for several hours. That being said I think probably I would like to wait at least a year if not longer to retry and that's only because I have a decent quantity of it. for those who only have a few bottles I would not open my first one until this wine was 10 years old. Highly recommended and likely meriting a much higher score. 92-95

Domaine Chantal Lescure, Pommard, 2015: Wow, after decanting for 5 hours this wine smelled heavenly. Deep ruby towards light purple in color, with on the slightly ethereal nose, dried violets, gun powder and bergamot, crushed ripe strawberries and raspberries, cherries, wild blueberries, loamy dirt, as well as smoke and cured meat. Medium, perhaps medium to full-bodied, with medium-plus intensity, as well as a velvety texture. On the palate, notes of juicy ripe raspberries and strawberries mixed with red currants and blueberries all wrapped in earthy, mineral and saline notes of dirt, iodine and flint, followed by notes of dried morels, winter black truffle, notes of blood orange, with medium-plus acidity and firm yet polished tannins gently coating the mouth with more saline notes of earth and cured meat on the long, elegant and mouth-filling finish. What a gorgeous wine this is, IMHO the very best kosher Burgundy on the market currently, a true masterpiece. While immensely enjoyable now with extensive decanting, cellaring this wine for a few more years should be highly rewarding. 13.5% Abv. Drink 2023-2030. 94-95.

WOW!! Dark ruby color. Intense intoxicating perfume bouquet of floral notes with hints of berries, cherries, and spice. On the palate, medium to full bodied with lush velvety mouthfeel and mouth filling fruit of dark cherries, tangy berries (great acidity) with loads of fruit, but loads of tannins. Drinks beautifully now, but the tannins are hiding a lot and this should just get even better with time. It is worth its hefty price tag and is proof that great kosher burgundy can be made. Highly recommended. Outshined the d'Ardhuy Aloxe-Corton tasted beside it today (but that wine is also amazing)

Nice beautiful ruby color. Explosive captivating ripe velvety berry spicy strawberry raspberry bouquet (unbelievable). On the palate, rich densce concentrated tannic with ripe fruit flavors of tangy berries, strawberries and a velvety mouth feel with a long tannic finish. An impressive well done Burgundy worth its lofty price tag. I cannot imagine what's in store as good as it tastes now, but still with loads of tannins and great structure it is not showing all of its stuff. Can try now, but really needs age. This is even after 12 hours decanted. Impressive. A unusually high 13.5% ABV for Burgundy, but still well balanced. Well worth adding to your cellar. Drink from 2025-2035. As I had this the same time as the Kosher 2015 Domaine d'Ardhuy Aloxe-Corton, I will compare them. Both are amazing and both are must have wines. The Aloxe Corton is more dense and concentrated and tight right now. The Pommard is more floral and expressive and lighter, but still no light weight, and at this point showing more complexity (but the Aloxe-Corton has complexity
