Decanted and now 2h after decant. Aromas of lanolin, Meyer lemon, tart apples, ripe pears, hint of minerals and herbs. Tart apples and Meyer lemon on palate w barely ripe pears, mild minerals and a hint of herbs. Full bodied w mildly waxy and mild viscous mouthfeel. Excellent acids give the wine lift and freshness. Nice moderately long finish of Meyer lemon and minerals. Nicely done. 90+

Smoky, nutty tropical fruit nose. On the palate, lemon, nuts, minerality & saltiness. What a texture. Very gastronomic wine. 2hrs of air in the decanter to get in the zone

What a cool wine that is absolutely in the zone now. Opens with a waxy, nutty fullness, almost like aged LdH. After an hour it just opens to cascades of dense white fruit, salinity, acid. Super balanced. It evolves and turns sweeter with a honey/lemon note as it sits. Hard to put down. Bravo.

Brought 3 bottles to Mom’s 90th birthday party for 40 people. In contrast to the previous bottle of this I had, these bottles were pristine. There was a beautiful floral and tropical fruited nose. The palate was very mineral driven with a wet stone sensation. Finish was long with an intact melange of ripe fruit. Quite delicious.

Decanted to verify the modest effervescence on opening which dissipated over a few minutes. Light to medium golden yellow. Slightly oxidative notes on the nose like burnt caramel, butterscotch and then mostly stone fruit. Medium weight on the palate with some moderate acidity and the peach/stone fruit notes. There is some flinty minerality as well on the finish. Reasonable depth. But, I had hoped for more... maybe slightly flawed??

Wine Tasting Group - Mediterranean - May 11, 2019 (Erik's Home): Campania, Italy from grape Greco Bianco of the Tufo Ariavecchia cru in the Greco di Tufo DOCG. Apples, lanolin, and a hint of caramel on the nose. Palate with honeysuckle, apples, and minerals. Excellent acids with a creamy, mildly waxy mouthfeel in medium-full bodied frame. Carried its 14% abv well.

A Good Tuesday, Vol. VI: Italians (Benanti, Calafe, Produttori, Cornelissen, D&R, Quintarelli...: These are cool, geeky wines. Fun to serve blind, as no one ever thinks of Greco di Tufo! Really evolves in the glass. A chameleon. A bit waxy, god weight and tension. dense white fruit, salinity, acid. Really pops with food. Held strong over the course of the night. Fun wine.
