"If Japan Were On The Mediterranean" (Andrea & Scot's): A beautiful bottle that played different pairing roles, starting with the second course: Ora King Sashimi Rose, Ikura, Pomegranate, Matsutake Shiro Shoyu. Really good mineral cut in this wine to balance richness.

Light golden in colour. Elegant sweetness on the palate. Some flint and smoke on the palate. Clean and long. It put on a bit of weight and power. Really easy to enjoy this. Found it a bit more open and expressive than my last bottle 2 months ago. He domaine is starting to get growing praise. I can see why.

Been a year since I checked out one of these. Light golden in colour. Elegant sweetness on the palate. Some flint and smoke on the palate. Clean and long. It put on a bit of weight and power. Will give another 12 months until the next one.

I was surprised by this wine. This is my first Monnot Meursault. This showed nice aromas of pear, citrus and white flowers with either flint or a tad of reduction (?). The palate is where I was surprised. This showed very little Meursault richness (nuts, butter, etc.). The palate is quite taught and precise mostly on citrus and flowers. The vintage is probably at play here but this feels like it had yet to find its stride. I'll revisit this in a few years.

My first reaction to this wine was, "delicate, refined and balanced." It is not dominant in any one attribute. I enjoyed smells and tastes of citrus and melon with sweetness - like vanilla, flowers, crushed rock and a warmness - others have commented on a spice factor - I don't notice a specific spice, but I do enjoy a warmness in its taste and texture on the palette. In just a few sips, this wine has changed with temperature and time. Pricey, but I would buy again.

Pale yellow hue. On the nose I get lemon, honey, and citrus. On the palette, it delivers a smooth balance between the rich warmness of a baked lemon pie and the freshness of a mineral, crisp finish. It's delightful, doesn't disappoint, but I think there are others just as good, or better for a better value.

As before. Quite consistent with last tasting note.
These didn’t last too long in the wine fridge!
