Fruit forward on both the nose and tongue. The nose is generic ripe red fruit, and is surprisingly pleasing. The tongue tastes like the nose with a little warm spice to it. This was a crowd pleaser that is drinking well now.

Dusty dried flowers on the nose, ripe red cherries on the palate, and the finish is medium length, smooth tannin. Drinking well now, and a good Paso GSM blend. Not the most complex but not bad either

Great GSM from a good Paso producer. Fruit forward low tannin with dark red fruit on the note that transitions to dark fruit by the aftertaste. No reason to hold

tldr: needed 45 min decant to start rounding into form; very nice depth and layers, really evolves on the palate; after four hours, much less fruit and more herb. amazing QPR for only $30. if this ages anything like the 2009 i had last year, it'll be a real treat in the years to come. Color: med-deep ruby, still see-through at its center. Nose: fragrant, fresh, black plum, blackberries, forest wood, spiced oak, touch of alcohol. Body: med/full, not too heavy on the palate. Acid: med+ Alcohol: 15.5%, but seemed more in the 14% range to me Palate: young/sharp on the palate; juicy ripe dark fruit, cherry syrup, gives way to herbal bramble notes, then to a short savory profile, before finishing with cinnamon/ginger spiced oak and black tea bag tannins. med-long finish.

Light ruby color. Strawberry, blackberry, sandalwood, leather, vanilla and black tea. Satin texture, medium-full body, fine-grained tannins, with red and black berries on the palate and black tea in the mid palate and finish. Graceful and balanced. Still has room to evolve.

Gave it a good 45min decant and it was flat out amazing for the price. 5 Star QPR for sure.

Can’t add anything to KGOLDSBE’s note, as it captures the wine perfectly.

cherry, herb, earth, black tea; nice mid palate; some complexity; a bit rustic in a good way

Sharp and spicy with firm tannins and grip. Loads of potential but needs a year or two.
