Retail $65. This was an additional bottle sent for the 2019 Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir where it showed quite well. Today, as I opened it up as my team was taken behind the woodshed and shown what it really meant to be a competitor, I could not focus immediately on the wine. As the game became more and more of a butt-whipping, I tried to focus on the wine (what else was there to do?). Dark in the glass with "dirty" dark and red fruit (tons of black cherry), flinty earth, and a hint of allspice. The palate is much more of the same: decent fruit, plenty of earth and spice, above-average finish. Nice. thedrunkencyclist.com

Was very soft on the nose and palate...crisp strawberry and rose. The alcohol came on in the mouth and finish. Not as balanced as expected, especially with such a smooth start. The drinking window is long though.

The Second Annual Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir: Retail $65. Shy on the nose with some nice cranberry eventually. Lovely nose once it comes around. Good fruit. Nice acidity. In fact maybe a bit too tart. Excellent. 90-92 Points. thedrunkencyclist.com

Had some fruit when opened then it disappeared. Very tannic. After a long decant a bit thin, sour notes.

Still a little young, needs more time to settle, notes of dark fruit, and a cherry nose.
