Surprise find in the cellar. Also surprise that drank so well. Recent Hartford pinots too 'jammy' for me but this had pleasant balance of cherry fruit, glycerin, tannin structure.

Wow, am I the only person who has drunk a bottle of this in the last year? Hard to believe. But real nice pinot and decent value if purchased from winery. Good flavors and balance. I like drinking good pinot.

Nice profile for high end pinot. Deep flavors that open up after half an hour in the glass with nice balance. This could wait a couple years and get better, but drink now if you want.

N: Tart red fruit. Espresso grounds. Touch of loamy soil.
T: Ripe, bright red fruit. Not overly crunchy. Don’t know if other tasters decanted but I did for 1 hour before tasting and it seems to have helped it open up. Poised and with beautiful balance and structure. Finish is quite long.
I picked this up for $35. I’d buy cases at that price if it were available. That being said, it could probably do with an extra dimension of complexity to justify the RRP.

Ripe fruit, lots of acid — very tart and tight finish, comes off as young. I think the acidity makes it interesting if you’re up for that, but otherwise a bit simple, should improve with a few more years in the bottle I think.

Fruit is lighter, younger, more tart, and more flamboyant than I recall in the tasting room, when I recalled deeper, darker, and more rich black and ripe fruit. Possibly due to bottle variation, or amount of air exposure. To me, this should be better in 3-5 years.

Big and intriguing. Strawberries and perhaps pomegranate, long finish. Something like honeysuckle o the back end. Super interesting wine. I’ll be holding through 2025 and maybe slightly longer. Great for the price at 59$ out the door.

P: LM body; Very NICE, focused, ALMOST swtish frt met by an astringent pucker which slowly, fairly seamlessly morphs into a LONG, balanced finish with a tangy/SWTNESS (40:60) to the dusty tannins. NICELY done in its "big", RIPE, almost Syrah-like style, this deserves another 12-18 mos, then drinking through '24, I suspect. My EXC-, *certainly* MORE *if* one is fond of the style. 97+ pts WA! Have had a few vintages of this and just love it. Electric bright red fruit, not overly acidic, minimal wood influence. Clean bright and soft.

Bright fruit flavors that are not often found at this depth of a Sonoma Coast pinot. What a wonderful wine, drinking well right now.

A robust Pinot with nice nose and strong red fruit. Should benefit from time. I’ll wait at least another year before opening another.

Second bottle. This is a serious wine, drinking great right now. Big nose and fruit to back it up. Ordered up 6 more to cellar.
