Digging this. Light golden color is followed by a powerful nose filled with honeysuckle, tangerine and cut grass aromas. Fullish yet tingly palate is vibrant and flavor packed. The finish is totally dry which makes this a great aperitif - my mouth is watering. Petrol is just making an appearance. Should be delicious for years to come. (93+)

Pop and pour. First sniff is all orange zest and honeysuckle. It’s light bodied for recent Alsatian vintages, showing delicacy of flavor while maintaining emphatic aromatics. There’s more intensity of flavor the longer it’s open, but it never becomes forceful. Finishes dry, and the orange zest carries on long after the last sip. This seems like an early to mid-term drinker, capturing the showy aromatics while they are at their best.

The Spiegel vineyard is just below their holdings in the other Grand Cru Kessler mid slope. The domaine's website is sadly unhelpful both in French and English, but this wine has RS of 5gr/l and ABV of 13%. They have branded the vineyard as "air" compared to Kessler as "fire" logically. I think that this wine shows that air underestimates the personality of this site.
Colour: light gold, bright, clear. Nose: v full, fresh, ripe, intense varietal notes, sl musky, peaches, apricots. Taste: light/med body, rounded, v ripe, great fruit notes of peaches and apricots, quince, good acidity, long finish, dry but opulent. Overall, a powerful wine full of terroir, rich and ripe. Still young.

This is delicious. Pear and citrus flavors with a delightfully long finish. It is not often I can describe Dirler-Cade as gulp able, but this one is close.

Previous notes apply. Beautiful expression of Alsatian Riesling. Went great with Piri-piri Chicken. No rush to consume.
