Pretty drying on the palate, and somewhat bitter. 15 percent abv. Maybe it just needs time, but I’m not sure if the fruit stuffing is there for the long term.

Dull earthy nose with a touch of cherry and light game notes. Dry plum, rawhide, wet soil, white pepper, and a mix of dried herbs on the palate. Clay, sour cherry, peppery notes, and dusty earth and tannins on the finish. Lacks both fruit and punch.

Nose of raspberry, white pepper, and cherry. Dry red fruit and black cherry palate with bitter dried herbs, black pepper, and a austere garrigue streak that also adds bitterness. Firm tannins with an acidic edge riding over clay and gravelly soil. Given the cork seemed to have mold on both the top and the sides, I wonder if this bottle is off. 89 points.

Well balanced, taste of cherries, medium body. Enjoyable now but a bit young, I suspect it will be better next year and even better the year after that. I look forward to finding out.

Soft, silky, juicy and fresh, with an appealing jolt of cherries, spice, garrigue and earth, the finish is all about the fresh, juicy, cherries that linger. The wine was made using 70% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah.

Not aging well. Fruit has resolved and left a sourish cherry note with not much behind it.
