Decanted 3 hours before drinking. Fresh on the palette, cold fruits. Some funky notes upon opening, a bit short. Didn’t develop much over time. Fruit is a bit shy, and acid is somewhat harsh. An unpleasant bitterness in the after taste. 88 points.

Matter of Taste Zurich Burgundy’s Viticultural Revolution Masterclass: Tasted at the Matter of Taste Zurich Burgundy’s Viticultural Revolution Masterclass. Different terroir form Chassagne, cooler and more windy and according to William Kelley the challenge is to build flesh and density into the wine.
Tasting note: A frame of fine oak and toast, citrus and pear fruit and fine mineral notes. A lightly built, fresh and crips palate with good tension and a decent finish.

Delicious now....like many 17 reds there are no hard edges and the wine is expressive. Fragrant, with deliciously ripe red berries, clay, and gamey meat flavors. Excellent value
