A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, plum, licorice and spice on finish, decant. www.winelx.com

Dark garnet color, medium-full body, nicely balanced and integrated blackberry and black currant fruits with notes of anise, hints of graphite and toasted oak with smooth polished moderate tannins on a lingering finish.
Very solid wine for the price point especially if you luck out and find it on a deal site. Fruit on the less ripe spectrum with nice acidity through the middle but not overpowering. Not particularly complex but again, it’s about the QPR

I'm opening this a bit early, but you can definitely enjoy this now with some hearty food like a steak.
I got dark, spicy red fruit on the nose, with a bit of cigar box. Maybe some white pepper as well. This suggested to me that we'd have some nice acidity, and tasting backed that up.
The dark red fruit was still there, but there's just a little black fruit as well. There's definitely some dark oak and espresso hints to go with the tannins on the finish. Strong acidity helps the finish last quite a while. Because of the balance between acid and tannins, this wine should age well for several years.

Medium body. Very Bordeaux like. Paired perfectly with grilled steak.

Amazing wine! Big, bold dark fruit, nice acidity, lots of tannin, definitely needs more time before drinking
