Much better than previous years. Still doesn't seem to hold up well compared to their other SVD's. PnP and showed well, but better with time. Minerals, cherry, plum, floral and raspberry aromas. More minerality, cherry, plum, raspberry, light cedar flavors. Good acidity leading to a medium smooth finish.

In general, I have been Little Hill has been my least favorite of their SVD Pinot Noirs. This may be the start of that turning around. This is not the small, bland wine of previous vintages. PnP and showed well, but better with time. Minerals, cherry, plum, floral and raspberry aromas. More minerality, cherry, plum, raspberry, light cedar flavors. Good acidity leading to a medium smooth finish. Seems to still have years to go.

Phil in Town; 6/25/2021-6/26/2021 (Matts House): There is a reason there are only a few tasting notes, this is 10 years too early. Decanted for 5 hours and this is not ready. Classic cherry and cola notes, some spice on the mid palate. This is the second bottle I have had of this (I waited forever to get on the list and this was my first allocation, I had to dig in). I though the other bottle showed better many months ago, so I believe this is shutting down for a bit. Don't open one, wait until 2025.

Gave this a 6 hour decant and drank over 2-3 hours. I have waited a long time to get on the Rochioli SV Pinot list (longer than any other list and I am on some good ones) and this was the first bottle I have opened of my own. Everything I wanted is here. Oak is well balanced with loads of black cherry and cola. Super concentrated texture and fine tannin. So happy to be on this list finally. These need 5 more years to come into their own but had to try one early

Great, rich, ripe raspberry fruit on the nose, opened nicely, lovely fruit, rich fruit, tasty, touch of peppery spice on the palate, long finish. My #2 of 5 and Group #5.

Very nice RRV in its style, well executed. This is power purple fruit and less terroir and scant garrique, a warm weather wine.
