Nose floral violet, funky earth, blueberry; palate blueberry again, sour apple, immense acid and mineral galore. Frizzante a nice touch. Definitely a stretch if you're looking for more "traditional" wines - except, of course, this is likely traditional in a very old school way.

Enjoyable stuff, but I was thinking I bought a rosé, so was a little disappointed. Cranberry and bright rose petals. Good bubbles. I liked with both Castelveltrano olives and goat cheese.

Marianna notes that its tomato paste, straight from the tube. And totally dry. Could use a little sugar.
