Very very good petite sirah enjoyed earlier tonight as part of a T-Vines petite sirah vertical tasting with our dinner club dinner at good friend David Duralia's house with dinner of grilled tenderloin tips. My WOTN - better then the '03 with richer and bolder structure, very well balanced and beginning to approach maturity but with tannic structure for at least a decade more of cellaring. Primary nose of dark stone fruit and blackberries with flavors of dark stone fruit, blackberry, loamy earth with development of some tobacco and leather on aftertaste. Highly recommend this and at this price point a good QPR.

Showing a touch of overripe sun dried cherry flavors, but big and tasty, this is looking more like a cheese wine. But just. Those who like big wines will enjoy this with heartier fare.

Plummy, ripe, thick, this is a very drinkable petite syrah given its youth. Petite Syrah doesn't really pick up much complexity with time, but is long lasting, so I'd say drink over the next 10 years.

Seemingly at the beginning of its mature stage already, fully integrated and good weight. Touch of refreshing tannins, but seamless red and black fruit flavors. If this develops more complexity it would be a plus, but it is absolutely delicious now.

From the minute the cork was popped, you could tell this was a hugely endowed wine. I needed to brush my teeth twice after this one! Lip staining inky purple color is an understatement. The wine exudes big black fruits, with a solid structure of tannins that is pleasingly mouth filling - but not over the top. Without such "fruit bomb" characteristics, the tannins would be over the top, but they're not. An enjoyable experience, this T-Vine doesn't disappoint. It isn't a great value, though. $40 is a serious price, and this wine delivers, but doesn't over-deliver, value. At $25 it would have been rated a point higher in my book.

Great stuff, big fruit and a ton of flavor. Not over the top, but a bit up front with the fruit right now so give it time in the decanter or hold for another couple years - should balance out more with time. Could evolve into a 93-94 for me with a couple years I would think. Regardless, delicious wine.

This is a young wine and will surely improve with age, but for a big petite sirah it is surprisingly approchable now. Almost black in colour with bright purple tinge around the rim. Beautiful nose of blackberry and currants. Rasberry, rubarb, vanilla and spice on the palate. 91-92

Agreed with previous reviews. Very dark in color, deep flavors and a lot of life left in this 2004. Excellent bottle!

Just stellar stuff. Deep, dark black fruits, complex nose, dusty tannins, great acidity, perfectly balanced at 14.1% abv. Highly, highly recommended.

BIG wine - dark, heavy - chocolate-covered fruit with good structure. Be ready for this - but definitely enjoyable. 89-90.

No notes, but loved it. Blew the Stags' Leap PS away. A winner. Drink over the next 10-15 years.
