The most floral and mineral of the three bottles consumed over the Thanksgiving holiday period - an absolute delight, and a good omen for this wine’s further positive evolution.

Floral, poires, fruits blancs, miel et une touche beurrée, tellement bien typé Meursault et un vrai délice en bouche aussi, frais, tendu, petite richesse et gras sans excès, très bon. 92-93
Flowery, white fruits too, pears, touch of honey and butter, very typical Meursault, gorgeous palate too, balanced and with enough acidity to support the slight richness.

Heater week; 3/26/2023-4/3/2023 (Chicago, IL): Next to the Perrières, this felt like it just wasn't as well put-together. A bit plump and unshapely with loads of fruit. Of course, that's not actually true -- I've had this wine in isolation and quite liked it, and it just goes to show what comparisons can do. But there's no denying the quality here of the winemaking, and how much the style appeals to me.

This has opened up considerably just in the past year but it still has so far to go. Brilliantly constructed wine with dense yellow fruit and tons of extract. Very satisfying.

Wonderful pure nose of stone and mineral. Needs to be decanted and given an hour or two of air time before it softens up but it has lovely fundamental material to improve considerably in another 3-5 years. QPR is a bit debateable and although I like this producer, I do think there are equally good producers out there at more acceptable QPR. Boillot / Roux etc

Nose gives out some wood notes. The palate shows an excellent acidity, that balances the lemon and green apple flavors and the green pepper notes that come out at the end. Vanilla and oak in general are felt towards the ending in a nice, not overpowering way. Very good.

Delicious. Really great showing, albeit still young. Mineral, lovely fruit, saline on finish. Perfect balance. Maybe best vintage for this wine from Germain?

I've been really falling for the Germain wines. There's something here that really just speaks to me. Just the right amount of reduction, the balance of acidity and minerality, a fullness on the palate, everything just seems to tick the boxes for me. This bottle is no exception. It has the freshness and verve of the vintage, as well as a fleshy, tropical sweetness to the fruit.

Incredible raw material -- dense and crunchy and long -- but very coiled and reduced at this stage, even with significant decanting. Needs 5-10 years.

Lots of reduction to start. Very mineral. With air it shows very precise lemon fruit. This will go a while.
