Popped and poured. Aromas of tart red cherry, soap, charcoal, and green vine cuttings predominate. Medium-to-light weight in the mouth. Red cherry and potpourri out front but marred by a mildly unpleasant bitter, slightly astringent finish which muted any complexity that might be developing. Air time only heightened this effect. I have one more bottle so will likely wait another year or two to see if this uncoils at all.

Ruby hue. Nose of violets, fresh cut berry, stony earth. Layers of crunchy red raspberry and cranberry fruit cut with iodine and anise. Bright acidity and firm tannin subsumed by copious fruit. Longer finish of crisp red berry and bits of iron. Quintessential Oregon Pinot sampled in its primary phase. Consumed in Mt Desert, Maine.

Fantastic bottle. Wild strawberries and cherry notes just burst from the glass. Very refreshing acidity and brightness on the palate without being tart or austere. Just lovely.

Mainly Oregon (Noizé): Light cherry red. Vibrant. Strawberries and a little more lift on the nose. Vibrant and savoury. Some density to the finish, deceptively so. Attractive now but this should develop nicely. ****

Tasty stuff, the nose is shows lots of baking spices and underlying red fruits, a hint of violet with more air. The palate leans significantly into the spice with the fruit coming in secondarily. It is tasty and the spice is somewhat reminiscent of Vosne. Good concentration and juicy acidity keeps this fresh. Very enjoyable.

Got hit with a strong smell of blueberries right after opening the bottle. Decanted an hour before drinking. More fruit notes, with an earthiness and funkiness. Some cherry cola, giving way to a strong taste of strawberry. Balances tannins and a good finish.

Coming around. This is still rather ripe and toward. With cherry and strawberry notes. Floral elegant nose. So easy to drink at this point. While cluster element is mild and adds a spicy element.

More floral than the Evelyn's but also less well delineated. Not my favorite vintage of this wine but certainly still an enjoyable wine from one of my favorite producers.

Light in style and body, even by the producer's standards for this label. Bio-dynamic farming elements are prominent, delightfully so. Poised and seductive.
This struck me as a wine that might put on a little weight with time, but with light enough acid so as to question whether it could last long enough for this transition.
It is, however, delicious and satisfying as it sits. Probably best to drink this over the next five years or so.

Bright strawberry and cream with a little spice, I thought it was old world grenache at first. Back to the glass another bite of raspberries with the stem comes through and its clearly PN, but a wholly different expression than the 2016 Patricia Green served before. No sous bois or reduction here. This leads with red fruit, soft texture and subtle spice. It's really fresh and fun, in a cute girl next door kind of way.

This came across as very ripe, on the raspberry strawberry end of the spectrum. Has plenty of acidity though, coming accords as fresh and focused. Mild tannins. Maybe a bit too ripe? Might just need to drop the baby fat.

Light plus color. Wonderful nose. Damp earth, cassis, baker's chocolate. espresso. Didn't need a decant.

It takes a while to lose the dilly flavor & nose. Opens to cherry.

The classical brickhouse vintage over vintage. One of the few 2017’s we’ve had. Black pepper on the finish

Another great ‘17. Red fruit, with some strawberry ripeness but very fresh and bright. Lovely chalky finish. Delicious now.
