  • The wine opened up with fresh floral aromas. The color is dark brick red to the edge of the glass. There are hefty flavors of blueberry and blackberry fruit. The finish is rich with a smooth velvety mouthfeel. This is truly a “Sleeper”. Fantastic wine that easily stands up to other wines twice as expensive. Great wine that evolved over the evening putting on more weight and getting better and better as the evening progressed.

  • Still needs considerable air if opening now. Big wine with grippy bun not objectionable tannin. Medium to long finish shows the Oakville AVA well. Will hold my remaining two bottles one to two more years.
