Thanksgiving week in Piemonte; 11/22/2019-11/30/2019 (Milan, Barolo, Alba, Barbaresco): At the Borgogno tasting room. I am a big fan of the Timorasso grape, and I was not disappointed with this rendition. A white wine for red wine drinkers, with a fuller mouth feel, some tannins, a bit of wax, lots of minerals a some spiciness on the finish. Have never come across this is the US, but would pick up some if I see it.

Piedmont II - better and learnings; 11/23/2019-11/29/2019 (Barolo, Alba, others): Much fuller bodied. Lots of lemon peel. A hint of the waxy. It's very much rhone white for the piedmont taste. I was slightly searching for the lighter entree into the weekend and this wasn't that, but when I revisited I liked it.
