Dark fruit is accented by tobacco, spring flowers and wild herbs. Good depth and texture. There is a level of elegances here that is delightful. Good juice.

90 minute decant. Very syrupy grip on the stems with dark fruit and dark chocolate offering a very appealing nose. Unfortunately this didn't continue across the palate, which was extraordinarily dry and chalky. while concentrated front palate Thai sentiment continued throughout, not showing much fruit at all.
Nearly 4 hrs after decanting the nose has softened, showing red fruit, violet, lavender and spice. The dusty chalk has faded, allowing currants and red fruit to appear. While this is my last bottle, if I had more I'd probably give this 2 to 3 hours to open up.
Easy drinker and fairly priced at $40, I'd pair this w poultry (smoked chicken for us tonite) or fish if aired sufficiently; based on the 90 minute decant I'm not sure what I'd do with this, as it was too one-dimensional to enjoy at that point.

Nice cab franc. I ordered this online and the bottles were stained(no biggie to me). Then as I removed the foil I notice the top has red wine stain? uh oh! My first thought, it's corked. I proceed to open and the cork slides out without much resistance and then I see the streaking on the cork(see my pic). The nose was fine, currant with a hint of blackberry. I decant and waited an hour. Drinks fine, however I believe it's risky keeping this wine long term due to the cork streak. Perhaps it was not stored properly prior to my receiving, so we decided to consume both bottles now. Again, nice cab franc, hints of black pepper, balanced fruit. Definitely decant for an hour.
I was not dissatisfied, just a heads up. I use a pump vacuum seal(not coravin) and even it fit loosely into the neck. Anyone else experience this?

Hour of bottle air; dark fruit on the nose, none of the green notes that I caught when I last opened a bottle of this. While thin and light on tannins/ structure, this is well-balanced and an easy quaff

Vinetasters: Cabernet Franc (Skokie, IL): Served double blind. Sweet, to the point it might almost be described as carmelly. Bitter, fat, heavy and any varietal characteristics have been successfully eliminated from the wine, turning it into another anonymous Californian (that part of the guess was trivial) red wine. At least this one's kind of cheap, since they all taste the same anyway. My 5th, group's 5th.

Great wine. Lets this open up for at least 2 hour's. I coravin the night before, and it had to sit in my glass for that long to open up. Very well made. Cheers

Good qpr @ $36 though not as enthusiastic about this wine as others. 45 mins after opening there’s spice, white pepper and a hint of green on the nose.
Lots of green stem on the palate and an odd, dry finish. Might actually be corked.

Near purple color in the glass. Nose of spice, earth and wood. Deep taste of earth and spice. Long legs. Great wine from start to finish. Glad I have more. Will purchase more.

Very balanced. Pleasing to drink. Mild pepper at the beginning followed by plum. Not terribly complex but composed. Clean finish in Burgundy glass, and poured in small volumes. Go-to drinker

A great deal for a cab franc. needed some decanting, but after a hour in the bottle, it started to drink nicely.

Smooth and well integrated tannins. I will definitely buy more. Good legs. Be sure to decant because air helps this wine to open up.
