En aroma presenta una expresividad media. Mineral y especiado. En boca es cálido, intenso y algo alcohólico. Es largo y ligeramente tánico. Mantiene frutos negros, quizá mora negra y tonos minerales, como arena mojada.

A bit of an old Parker favourite from an undervalued part of the winemaking world. Deep, dense ruby in the glass. The nose is expressive and attractive with plenty of spicy, peppery red and black fruit, dried herbs, tar and earth - classic Monastrell. The palate surprised me, being a lot fresher and less oaky than expected. There was nice fruit definition but it came across as unbalanced, and with little mid-palate depth and concentration. The tannin and acidity through the finish were pretty grainy and raw and everything just fell away on the clipped finish. Pretty disappointing but seems consistent with a few other notes here. I think there may be a bit of bottle variation in this vintage and this didn't feel right despite showing no obvious faults.

Cellaraid Discovery Box; 5/19/2017-5/26/2021 (Delivered to Home): Deep inky purple, and nearly homogenous to edges. Aromas of dark florals and berries, as well as black pepper, leather and cured meats. Full bodied, with rounded tannins and lots of alcohol heat, and dark berries and tar flavours, as well as cinnamon, black pepper, coffee grounds, dark florals and meat stew. Finish dominated by the dark tar and smokes, with good length

Nose of crushed rocks, berries, spice — feels a tad muted and indistinct on the nose. Comes alive much more on the palate with fresh cracked black pepper, incense, a touch of baking spice and black fruit. Some nice palate intensity.
Texturally there’s some dusty tannins and medium acid. There is a slightly rough hewn quality about it, feels a little rough and harsh around the edges. Still, solid value and enjoyable wine.

Full bodied and strongly tannic initially, but softened considerably after 6 hours in an open bottle. Was a little much for roasted chicken but not bad

Quite a dense nose black fruits, some herbs, a little oaky spice. The palate was quite full and lots going on with some powdery tannins, fruit, oak, spice and nice acidity. Although there is a lot going on it doesn't detract from an enjoyable wine. Not my normal style but that should never stop you to #giveanewwineago this is available @harrogatewines for £16 and I certainly was happy paying that for it. 86 points

Earthy tobacco on the nose. Berries with herb and pepper fall off very quickly though.

Very good, especially for the price point (12.99). Even better the 2nd day.

Ho hum. Seemed bland, lacking complexity. Drinkable, but nothing special.

Medium-full bodied, red fruit with nice acidity. Decent, but not very complex. Could improve in time. Relatively good QPR.

Full bodied. Mint and Eucalyptus to go with the dark fruits. Good value
