Tasted after 1 hour of air. Medium ruby color. Tangy strawberry fruit. Nice spice on the mid palate lift. Some tea. Medium tannins. Excellent balance and freshness here. Medium plus finish.

Nose of purple fruit, bacon fat, and light oak. Palate delivers purple fruit, violets, rocks, and peppery herbal notes. Finish of supple tannins with acidity and tension giving way to iron, blueberry on a long finish.

Very bland, almost nothing to describe. I've had several bottles and all have been poor, lacking flavor and basically insipid. Mourvedre, Syrah and Grenache should be bold, spicey and earthy, but this was just BORING. I usually enjoy wines from WA but this was sadly disappointing. Cost $45 but not worth much at all.
Eye: dark garnet color. Nose: cherries, forest floor, floral. Palate: well rounded with solid structure underlying some nice red fruit, medoum finish. Great MGS blend - surprised at the depth of flavors.
Just another evening of good wine and cheer (Chilly Noe Valley): Brought by Laz to our tasting with the remainder left with me. Fairly robust nose and palate with forest floor, Xmas spice, red and black raspberries, earthy minerality and a pleasing black pepper kick. Medium ruby, light+ bodied, light+ legs. Medium+ acidity, medium- tannins, no heat. Good complexity, persistence and intensity. I'd not heard of this winery, let alone bottling, before, but I do have a fondness for WA Rhone syrahs (although Mouvedres aren't typically favorites). I wasn't able to taste this at our tasting--there were too many other things of greater interest--but the plus of that is that I'm able to give it closer attention on the next day. This has a nice Rhone spicy-earthiness, and is elevated by good freshness and the peppery kick. It's completely pleasant and moderately interesting, but doesn't leave me craving more and makes me scratch my head about Jeb's 96. Enough freshness to likely be solid for 5+ years, although I'm not certain significant improvement is likely. 90+
Enjoyable wine. Jammy raspberry dominates the nose. On the palate I get raspberry, cedar, mandarin orange, forest floor, some underlying blue fruit, and some black pepper on the finish. Medium body, medium finish.
Should you be interested, I’ve uploaded info for this vintage which you can peruse at your leisure. 😉
1:35 hr decant into a plastic, cylindrical pitcher which was then closed; NO visible sediment; Private Preserve used after Day 1.
N: ATTRACTIVE red, poss blk rasps, flowers (violets?), milk chocolate, all these aromas increasing fairly dramatically with swirling
P: Med, poss LM, body; NICE frt met by an astringent pucker which fairly seamlessly evolves into a LONG, still astringent finish with an underlying frt swtness being elicited by tonight's MEast Mixed Take Out, whereas solo the astringency was in the forefront.
// Day 2: While I had some MINOR questions 'bout how well it held, a relative thought it did FINE, though neither of us felt it went particularly well with IT Sausages & COSTCO Ravioli(Spin/Ricotta)/Marinara, a fairly common meal for us, & 1 we've paired with various reds, including a '10 Guigal CdP.
∑: Right now I'd have to go 90 pts for it solo, though 92 (poss even 93?) with the proper pairing &/or some addt'l cellaring. So, 91 "overall", & HOPEFULLY we'll not open any of our remaining bottles 'til mid '22 min. 🤔 14.5% ABV

Quality juice. 70% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache and 5% Syrah. A little Smokey, earthy, beautiful crimson color. Silky texture, and perfect balance of fruit and tannins. Fantastic QPR @ $25. Wish I bought more at this price...

Two hour decant, this is a medium bodied, bold affair, with black fruit and balanced oak touches leading into a smooth drinking, well structured wine with a long finish.
I have had the previous vintage a few times and thought it was good but a little bit overpriced. When I got an email from a local bistro offering it for $25 I had to give it a try:
N: Quite muted but nice. Sweet red fruits (raspberry) cinnamon.
P: More red fruits, sour cherry, tea leaf. Although this is mostly Mourvedre, I can sense the Grenache and it adds a nice balance.
F: Moderately long finish with good acid and fine tannins.
Seemed to open up with more time. Not sure i would buy again.
Ready to drink now, this wine offers fresh, ripe cherry and raspberry flavors and fine, soft tannins. Had a Pinot feel to me, so lighter bodied than I was expecting.

Drank this first bottle a bit too warm at 70F, as we opened it a few hours after receiving it. A bit of spice, herbal. Medium body. Classic Washington Syrah on the nose. After it cooled down just a tad (68F), I liked it better (we were outside, on the Oregon Coast, and the air temp was < 60). The tannins suggest that this will age a while. I’d concur with community rating of 2022-2027, other than I think you can drink it now too, a perfectly nice experience in 2020.

Wine Palooza (Eagan, MN): Least favorite wine at the event. A bit hot with earth and some red currants. Not in a good place right now.
