Opened up nicely with rich fruit flavors, dark plum and raspberry notes, black cherry. A bit darker notes in the finish--cocoa, tobacco, soy sauce. Integrated nicely throughout.

This continues to impress. Decanted for several hours. You will need to filter if you are turned off by skin residue in the bottle. We had this with home made onion soup. A real treat, smooth with life left.

Garnet color in the glass. clear looking throughout. Nose of grapefruit, orange peel and berries. Flavors of berries and raspberries. Bit of a clipped finish. Medium acidity, medium tannins, light to medium body. Drink over the short term.

Very elegant example of RRV Pinot. Nice nose of cherry and spice. This was extremely balanced with nice acifdity and a medium lemgth finsh. Took a bottle from the cellar to a local restaurant for dinner

My first opening of the '06 vintage. Very similar profile to the wonderful '05. It is a medium-bodied pinot with a rich nose of spice, nutmeg, and cherries. Palate has dark raspberries, cherries, and peppermint. A touch of oak with some interesting mushroom and leathery components as well. A nice clean long finish with a solid balance of minerality and acidity.

Simliar to 3/11 note, nose of cherries and spice. Great RRV pinot with elegance and structure to last.

Each bottle of this seems to be better than the last. I wish I had grabbed more at $17.

Took a while to open up. Recommend decanting and possibly airing out for a couple of hours.

This bottle had some depth. Much more bold than I remember. Solid fruit but held up well with a steak.

Dry, and a bit a thin. Fruit seems to have faded somehow.
