This was probably really fruity in its prime. To me, it felt a little muted this late. My partner really liked it because it was light. I was looking forward to a big wine which this was not. The color was a little off, almost orange at this point. The wine still has legs and the taste is still nice, just not probably what it was meant to be.

There was a floral perfume (violets) on the nose; light in color; slightly dry tannins; would drink with food (Italian of course); reminded me of a typical Italian wine, not fruity, like many California wines.

Very light red color. Strawberry and violets on the nose. Tart. Very nice ....reminds one of Pinot noir but with a flowery nose.
